Head of Faculty - English, Salford
We wish to appoint a Head of English who is an outstanding teacher with exceptional leadership skills and excellent communication skills. This is an exciting opportunity for you to develop your career, implement new strategies and lead our already successful English faculty to even greater heights. You will have the opportunity to inspire both staff and students and to help us create an 'outstanding' English department in our school.
The successful candidate will join a team of highly committed, professional teachers in a 'good school', ('rapidly improving' with a 'palpable use of forward momentum' - OFSTED November, 2012), which has an excellent tradition of being a caring and supportive community. You will be required to teach across the ability range in Key Stages 3 and 4.
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Successful applicants will need to undertake an enhanced CRB disclosure.

Buile Hill Academy is an 11 – 16, co-educational, fully comprehensive community school, serving the inner city community of Salford.
