*To include subject leadership for History.

We are looking to appoint, on a permanent basis, an outstanding, enthusiastic and innovative teacher to lead this dedicated and progressive faculty. The post would include overall leadership of the Humanities Faculty (which will include line management of all humanities subjects) and specific subject leadership of the history department.

Bungay High School Academy is a thriving and successful school situated in a pleasant rural area. We are 20 miles from Norwich and 15 miles from the delightful heritage coast. We have fantastic students, great staff and a commitment to success for all. We were judged to be 'Outstanding' by Ofsted in 2011.

About Bungay High School

Bungay High School is a co-educational secondary school with academy status in Bungay, Suffolk. It caters for children aged 11-18.

The school, originally Bungay Grammar School, became Bungay High School in 1974. A range of academic and vocational and academic qualifications are offered in its sixth form.
