Head of Key Stage 5 Maths, Salford
Oakwood Academy in Eccles, an outstanding secondary and sixth form special school for pupils with complex learning difficulties is looking to appoint an experienced SEN practitioner to teach, develop and lead Key Stage 5 maths.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a depth of knowledge and understanding of children with a wide range of complex learning difficulties and have completed appropriate professional development.
- You will be an outstanding classroom practitioner who can demonstrate flair and originality
- Be motivated and committed to driving forward maths within the school and able to lead a team of highly dedicated colleagues.
- Able to work across all Key Stages and have the ability to adapt work to suit differing levels of ability.
- You will care passionately about the individual development and progress of young people with special needs
- Be flexible and be able to offer other subjects in addition to maths if required.
Closing date: 10am on Friday, 25th April.
Interview date: w/c 5th May.
Interviews will consist of a lesson observation, ten minute presentation, formal interview and an interview with the School Council.
