Job overview

The Church of England Central Education Trust is looking to appoint a Head of Operations. This is a newly created, full-time post to support the development of a growing Trust. CECET is a unique and forward thinking strategic partnership which brings together the Dioceses of Birmingham and Lichfield and the University of Wolverhampton.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the financial and business management of the Trust and its associated academies. This will include preparing annual accounts, maximizing grant funding, overseeing all commercial activities, supporting academy conversions and working directly with individual academies to secure "best value" for all aspects of the Trust's provision.

This is an opportunity to make a significant contribution to the work of the Diocese as the person appointed will have a key role to play in securing outstanding educational provision and expanding the scope of the Trust's operations.

This is an incredibly exciting time to be joining the Church of England Central Education Trust (CECET), and the successful applicant will have a significant role to play in shaping the strategic direction of our future work.

The post is offered at a salary range £45,000 - £50,000 dependent on experience.
