We require for 1st September an enthusiastic Philosophy and RE teacher with good leadership qualities to manage a very important curriculum area. This is a highly successful and very well equipped and resourced department and the head of department would be expected to help promote the teaching of the subject within the department and across the curriculum. Philosophy is a popular subject in the School with increasing numbers taking the subject at A2 there are currently 2 "A" level groups. Please apply by letter and curriculum vitae indicating qualifications, training and relevant experience. An interest in and commitment to introducing a philosophy related subject at GCSE would be welcomed. Ability to offer RE to A2 level would also be desirable.
