We seek to appoint an outstanding teacher of Physics to lead Physics within our School.
What we are looking for:
- An outstanding and ambitious teacher of Physics
- A practitioner with experience of teaching Physics to A-level and the drive to lead others to successfully teach A-level Physics
- A leader who can show a commitment to providing CPD to others in order to raise standards within Science
- A colleague who can demonstrate innovation in teaching and learning in order to get the best out of students
What we can offer:
We have a large sixth form and successful candidates would be expected to lead post-16 Physics as well as other innovations within the Science faculty.
We have an active CPD programme within the school and there are opportunities to develop yourself by attending, or delivering CPD to staff within school. Leadership opportunities are also available beyond the faculty.
Our students are dedicated and keen to do well, they have high aspirations and look to you to guide them on that journey.

Science at Prince William School:
Our Science faculty follows these aims: We are an enthusiastic team that are passionate about students' learning in Science. We expect the best from our students and staff and we support and challenge them so that they will thrive in school and beyond.
All our Science teachers have their own laboratory and we are supported by an excellent team of technicians.
Our schemes of learning are well organised and provide a mixed curriculum for year 9 with the option to take triple science in years 10 and 11 (or double science). We offer Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Health and Social Care to students in sixth form.
We run a programme of enrichment for our students including a STEM club, talks, field trips and a trip to CERN which we hope the successful candidate would continue.
