An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced, enthusiastic and committed educator to lead our Pok Fu Lam Campus (approximately 480 students aged 4-11 years) and contribute to the Kellett School Senior Management Team

The successful applicant should demonstrate:

  • A passion for student entitlement and excellence within a broad, rich and challenging curriculum.
  • Successful leadership experience at Head Teacher or Deputy Head Teacher level
  • An understanding of meeting the needs of high achieving students
  • Knowledge and understanding of British education, teaching beyond the National Curriculum framework and maintaining 'outstanding'
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional development of self and colleagues
  • A desire to work and actively contribute to the leadership of a multi campus, through-train school
  • The importance of building a community, contributing to the wider life of the school and working in partnership with parents

Applications are invited from experienced colleagues with a sound understanding of early years and primary/preparatory education who are committed to achieving the school aim; 'A love of learning and confidence for life.'

The post becomes available following the promotion of the current Head of School to a large international school within the region after seven years of successful leadership.

The successful applicant will ideally commence employment in August 2015 or thereafter by mutual agreement.

Kellett is a through train school with campuses in Pok Fu Lam on Hong Kong Island and in Kowloon Bay. The Pok Fu Lam campus is a Preparatory School (for ages 4-11 years old) in Wah Fu at the foot of Mount Kellett and overlooking Kellett Bay, while the Kowloon Bay campus houses a Preparatory and Senior School for students from 4 -18 years old. 

We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage and English National Curriculum, which includes GCSEs, IGCSEs and A levels. As our children progress through the school, they are encouraged to learn with growing independence in a challenging and stimulating environment. As a result, our students achieve consistently strong academic results with many going on to study at the world’s leading institutions.
