Reporting to Academic Director, this role will be responsible for the development and maintenance of a coherent qualifications policy and the associated regulatory and compliance functions required in the context of delivering the organisation's overall strategy whilst meeting the needs of our regulators.

The post holder will work cross-functionally across our academic and product development teams, other locally/market based functions and key external stakeholders including our regulators, to support an effective and successful cycle of qualification review and development and to ensure that Trinity gains/maintains accreditation for new and existing products in the UK and internationally.

An ideal candidate will be a senior educationalist with a demonstrable background in education and qualifications, coupled with a sound knowledge of government education policy and regulatory frameworks and detailed working knowledge of the UK qualifications system. You will have a proven track record of managing and leading a team and of providing strategic and policy direction. An in-depth understanding of the regulatory and compliance context is key to the success of this role as is the ability to manage key external relationships eg Home Office, Ofqual and other international compliance bodies.
