Head of School

Opening September 2015 with 60 pupils in reception and 60 pupils in year 3, the Ramsgate Free School is a highly aspirational new School.

We are seeking an experienced school leader to play a key role in the development of the vision for the Free School. You will be seeking to use your skills and experience in building on the significant successes of the proposer school. You will have extensive experience of working with children across the primary age range and have a real commitment to maximising opportunities for pupils. You will be a highly motivated and innovative leader with a demonstrable knowledge of good practice in curriculum planning, development, assessment and evaluation of pupil progress. You will have experience in the use of school data management systems and understanding of managing budgets.

With an Executive Headteacher in place, who will be responsible for two schools in the Trust, the Ramsgate Free School is looking for a Head of School to:? Work with the Executive Headteacher and Trust to further develop the vision and direction of the school.

• Be responsible for the operational running of the school and deputise for the Executive Headteacher when appropriate or necessary.
• Lead and be accountable for the curriculum throughout the school and be responsible for effective and timely data management and reporting.
• Promote the vision and aims of the school with all stakeholders and develop a close working relationship with Chilton Primary School.
