We are a community college with a rich programme of adult education. We work closely with the county’s youth service in supporting young people. Our specialist status allowed us to develop further our community work as well as enhance our links with local business. We have a strong programme of activities beyond the school day with music, sport and additional study activities playing major roles.

The performance of the College is reflected in an increasing confidence in our work in our local community. In 2007, our Year 7 intake is 230, the highest in the College’s history.

A major plank in our improvement has been our Business and Enterprise status. This has added to the College’s firm sense of direction and an even stronger focus on improvement.
