Opportunity in special education for an aspiring Senior Leader.

We are seeking to appoint a Head of Science due to the forthcoming retirement of the current post holder in summer 2015.

The Governors and Leadership Team are committed to the professional development of staff and believe that schools should offer opportunities to learn and develop alongside pupils. This role would suit somebody who is ambitious and aspiring to leadership. The current post holder is a member of the Senior Leadership Team and the school is also seeking a replacement within the Senior Leadership Team.

Ideally the successful candidate would be able to commence employment from the beginning of the summer term 2015. Oakwood School is focused on raising student standards in line with national expectations. This year 40% of students achieved 5 A* - C grades and 100% of students achieved at least 1 A - G Grade at G.C.S.E.
