St Michael's Church of England High School is a school with an extremely bright future. Results over the last five years have seen dramatic rises reaching 95% 5 A*-C at GCSE in 2013 and the percentage including English and Maths rose by 10% to our best ever figure in 2014.
We are an 11-18 mixed Comprehensive School of around 550 students situated in a delightful position on the northern edge of Crosby.
We are looking to appoint an outstanding practitioner to lead our Science
Department. The department also benefits from a Lead Practitioner, a committed team of staff and a growing school farm.
The person appointed will have ambition, drive and energy, and be able to teach
across the ability and age range including A level. We are looking for a leader who sets high standards, has a record of outstanding achievement and is capable of developing a team of people to become an outstanding faculty.
