Job overview

We are looking to appoint a talented, enthusiastic and well qualified Head of Science. This post would be very suitable for an excellent practitioner looking for a senior position within a school. The ability to teach Science to scholarship level as well as experience in subject coordination across the age range is vital. The ability to teach Games or an interest in boarding provision may also be an advantage.

West Hill Park is a flourishing Co-Educational Day and Boarding School with an Early Years Centre and Prep School for Years 1 - 8. The appointed person will be responsible for Science teaching, assessment and curriculum development for Years 1 to 8 and will work with the Director of Studies and Head of Early Years, to facilitate the continuity of Science teaching across the whole School.

West Hill Park School is a non-selective, non-denominational, independent preparatory school based in Titchfield, Hampshire. It has approximately 270 pupils aged 3-13.

West Hill Park School was established in 1920 by Charles Ransome. Previously family-owned, it became a charitable trust administered by a governing board in 1959. The school is situated in 28 acres of grounds in the historic village of Titchfield, in an 18th-century building.
