SIS is a young school that opened its doors in August 2012 with a founding campus in Penang. Since then, we have grown rapidly but still retain the advantages of a small school, most notably the family feel and the warmth of the community. This is an exciting time for the group, as we transfer into a new purpose built campus in Penang and establish another campus in Rawang, close to Kuala Lumpur, for September 2015. For the coming year, due to growth, we are expanding our senior leadership team and therefore creating a number of new roles. Therefore, we seek to employ an outstanding candidate for the position of;
- Vice Principal (Head of Secondary) - Penang
These duties are currently held by the school Principal and as such, this is the first such appointment for the school as we continue to expand. We are particularly keen to accept applications from candidates with experience of establishing A Levels and Sixth Forms as we move towards our inaugural Year 12 class in 2015. These posts would suit ambitious individuals keen for career development and with outstanding initiative and drive.
As a school, we pride ourselves on the level of care we give to our students. The motto, 'Not for me, Not for you, But for us,' really captures what we are trying to do. We base ourselves upon the ideals of service, community and compassion and our vision is to combine academic rigour with a key sense of kindness, personal responsibility and determination to overcome challenges.
