Calderdale College is looking to recruit an experienced WBL professional with the experience or strong potential to lead and manage the delivery of our Work Based Learning (WBL) strategy cross college, including traineeships, apprenticeships, workplace learning and bespoke packages for employers . 

The college's vision is to be outstanding and the successful candidate will need the skills, qualities and resilience to develop outstanding provision that meets Ofsted Standards and employer expectations, whilst continuing to deliver improvements in the quality of teaching, learning and assessment.

As a key member of the College's Leadership Team reporting to the Vice Principal for Learning and Achievement, the post holder will provide effective leadership and management by setting high expectations and by motivating and deploying staff and resources to deliver on a range of targets. The post holder will also be responsible for the development of new Apprenticeship frameworks and delivery methods, in line with local skills strategies.

The successful candidate will have a relevant background in WBL, have a degree and/or management qualification and have demonstrable experience of innovative curriculum development and growth, successful collaboration with employers and a strong track record in the quality of teaching, learning and assessment in a WBL setting.
