Exceptional, Visionary Head Teacher required to deliver outstanding SEN Education
Hallmoor School is an all-age day school for 230 children. Originally for those with moderate learning difficulties; it now admits children with a broad spectrum of learning difficulties. The Ofsted report in 2012 once again judged the school to be Good.
An exciting new build is planned under the DfE's Priority School Build Programme, on the former split site Mirfield, in 2015. This will house around 240 pupils with the facilities for children with more complex needs.
The school is a very positive community and has received glowing Investors in People Reports, has a motivated and cohesive staff with excellent professional development opportunities. Many teaching and non-teaching staff have developed within the school to gain promoted roles.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with the vision and motivation to continue to build on the school's outstanding ethos and the common desire to provide an outstanding education for all of our pupils.
For an informal discussion please contact Jill Buckley, Clerk to the Governing Body on 0121 783 3972 or email: j.buckley@hallmoor.bham.sch.uk.
Candidates interested in visiting the school prior to the closing date can do so on the 1 of May. Please contact the Clerk as above.
Closing Date: Friday 2 May 2014, 12 midday
