Job overview
Due to the retirement of the current head teacher, the Governors are seeking to appoint a dynamic and committed individual with senior leadership experience to lead the School from April 2015. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a significant contribution to primary school improvement and an enthusiasm to embrace the opportunities of leading an already successful, flourishing and happy School with a strong community identity. The successful candidate will enjoy the support of a hardworking, committed staff and governing body.
The School is also a member of Penwith Education Trust and the School has a successful working relationship with other local education providers.
Priorities and Responsibilities:
- To be responsible for the leadership, internal organisation, and management of the School.
- To build on the current high standards of teaching and learning in order to further raise attainment across the key stages.
- To promote and safeguard the welfare of children for whom the School is responsible.
- To maintain an inspiring, creative and caring environment in which our children will thrive.
