The Governors of Shurdington Church of England Primary School are seeking to appoint an inspirational and ambitious Headteacher who can provide the strategic vision to build upon our school's success with creativity and intelligence.

The promotion of the current Head to a larger school has created a leadership vacancy for an outstanding candidate, whose commitment to leading by example, and dedication to recognising and promoting the individual needs of each pupil will be commensurate with the Christian ethos of the school.

The school is rated as Good by Ofsted and SIAS, and the 115-pupil roll is strongly supported by a dedicated and nurturing staff, engaged parental community, and active links with the three local parishes.

The surrounding area benefits from a range of excellent secondary schools, access to open countryside in the Cotswolds, and Shurdington is in close proximity to both Cheltenham and Gloucester. Shurdington village lies on the A46, is situated on a major bus route, and is just two miles from the M5.
