Flame Care are currently working in partnership with Cambian Education services to recruit a Head Teacher for their Outstanding School, Grateley House in Hampshire.

For over 35 years Cambian Education Services have been providing specialist residential schools, care and education for children and young adults with autism, Asperger syndrome, severe learning disabilities, challenging behaviour and complex needs and their services are rated as 'trusted providers' by Ofsted and CQC.

The vacancy is due to an internal promotion and the school is for young people aged 9-19 who have a diagnosis of Asperger syndrome and other associated difficulties.

The main school building is a large country house set in 8 acres of grounds which provides a beautiful and secure setting for outdoor activities where students have access to a broad and balanced curriculum which extends throughout the waking day.

A significant part of the learning process is catered for in after-school, structured activities. Our client aims to teach self-management through the provision of a range of strategies that allow students to develop their strengths and manage their difficulties successfully. Everything they do is supported by a wide range of clinical and therapeutic inputs including: Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Clinical Psychology.
