The governing body of The Slade Nursery School & Children's Centre wish to appoint an inspirational leader who can take our Nursery settings on from outstanding.

This is an exciting opportunity to take part in the further development of a thriving and popular nursery school and children's centre. Our centre is co-located with a primary school, and the whole site has just been redeveloped, offering wonderful opportunities for integrated community working

The Slade Nursery School & Children's Centre is community focused and well-respected in Oxford, and has served the families of the area for many years.

The Nursery School has 104 full-time equivalent nursery aged children. We also have a 45 place Day Nursery (88 children birth - 8 years) operating 7.30am-6pm and a successful and busy Children's Centre. These both provide extended, wrap around services and all year round provision.

The successful candidate will need experience or proven interest in the development and management of a Children's Centre and in developing partnerships and new initiatives across multiple agency networks in a socially diverse community.

We are looking for an exceptional leader and early years professional who is passionate about enriching the learning of every child, with excellent interpersonal and management skills and the ability to inspire, motivate and empower others.

We can offer a highly experienced and committed senior leadership team, staff and supportive Governing Body.
