Job overview

Sharing success with tomorrow's leaders

To develop the leaders of tomorrow, we need the leaders of today to inspire them, nurture their development and teach them to think big.

If you're as passionate as we are about raising the aspirations of both staff and students, and believe in the need to develop leadership skills of the highest level in all young people, this could be the outstanding opportunity you've been waiting for.

Through personalised development and our inter-connected learning ethos, the new Powerlist Foundation College is designed to accelerate leadership development for all, regardless of social or educational background.

A joint partnership between Aspirations Academies Trust and the Powerlist Foundation, this new free school has already been heralded by the DoE as an example of stand-out innovation in the field - and is part of an Academy Trust that is dedicated to becoming an international model for success.

Building on the youth leadership development expertise of the Powerlist Foundation, this alternative type of 6th form college (situated in the heart of Central London) will be able to take students from across all London boroughs, and will offer both the traditional A level subject portfolio together with unique business leadership courses.

The opportunity to mix up people, experiences and ideas to create an empowering and inspiring educational experience for our students is unprecedented. We truly believe there are no limits to what we're trying to achieve here. But our future success will, to a great extent, hinge on you.

A proven track record of leading innovation in education and transforming aspirations and opportunities for students, ideally from non-advantaged backgrounds, will be crucial. You'll also already be very well connected to those outside of education who can help bring new ideas into the classroom, and will have the competitive spirit, resilience and far-sightedness to, from the very beginning, establish the college as a true destination for academic and professional success.
