This position arises through the retirement of the present Headteacher after 15 years of exceptional leadership.

  • able to maintain and nurture our ethos where all pupils can feel equally valued for their culture and contributions,
  • able to demonstrate a flair for working collaboratively to develop and maintain our very positive relations with pupils, staff, parents/carers, governors, our neighbouring schools and the wider community.

Interested candidates are very welcome to visit the school to meet our committed staff and delightful pupils. At Fernwood we have taken every opportunity to create excellent facilities to meet the needs of our high achieving school. We are also in a strong financial position ready to make the most of the future.
