Due to the advancement of our current Headteacher, the governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated leader with a proven track record of outstanding practice. We are looking for an experienced leader who can help us maintain an excellent education for all our children, whilst securing advancement of the school's achievements through its strong Catholic ethos and outstanding practices.

The successful applicant will:

  • be an existing Head or aspiring Deputy Head wishing for further exciting challenges
  • be a practising Catholic with a strong personal faith and a clear vision of Catholic education
  • ensure that all children are valued as individuals
  • promote the highest standards of teaching and learning
  • commit to maintaining and further developing partnerships between our school, our parents, our parishes and the wider community
  • have the vision and interpersonal leadership skills to take our school forward.

We are a North Yorkshire school in the south of the county, serving Selby, Brayton and the neighbouring villages. We also welcome students from the East Riding, from Howden, Goole, Old Goole and surrounding villages, and from Stainforth, Thorne and Moorends, near Doncaster.

Holy Family is a Catholic School in the Diocese of Leeds. We welcome people of other faiths.
