We have unique opportunity to offer. Dame Tipping Primary is a group 1 school situated in the rural village of Havering- Atte-Bower, at the heart of a very supportive community and this community feel permeates the entire school. We are a voluntary controlled school, which means we promote a Christian ethos at the school, having a strong partnership with the local church and Diocese.

'Good with outstanding features', our children achieve highly and we feel it is the level of personalisation within the school that supports this. Being such a small school can present its challenges, but opens up so many opportunities to be creative and really get involved with the entire school life - there's no being stuck behind a desk here!

Our new leader will be able to recognise what works well and be able to create and share a new vision for the school and curriculum innovatively, managing change effectively so as to take everyone along with them. Due to the size of the school, we feel it is vital that our new leader is a confident, outstanding practitioner who can model and lead teaching and learning by having some responsibility for teaching across the school.

In this role you will have the opportunity to develop your leadership style and skills, having exposure to all aspects of school life, doing what you have always done best as well without losing touch with the children.

Whilst a practicing Christian would suit us best, our minimum requirement would be that the new headteacher would value our traditions and have sympathy with the Christian faith.
