  • Very strong improvement in 2014 for KS1 phonics and KS2 SATs results with good progress shown.
  • A recently strengthened Senior Leadership Team with a deputy and two assistant heads.
  • According to our 2013 Ofsted 'Pupils' attitudes to learning are excellent. They get on well together and behaviour in lessons and around the school is good.'
  • New build campus opened in September 2007 with a large playing field and outdoor swimming pool.
  • Supportive governing body.
  • Strong links to the local community and church.
  • Our great location in Weymouth, home of the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Sailing and award winning golden beach.

You will be able to:

  • Explain your relevant achievements as a senior leader from a primary, middle or academy role.
  • Demonstrate a history of successful delivery of school improvements.
  • Develop a vision for our school.
  • Communicate that vision clearly and effectively to all stakeholders.
  • Deliver that vision leading to real improvements that benefit our pupils.
  • Set and control budgets and forecasts.
  • Manage relationships with our pupils, parents and teachers.

If you believe that your enthusiasm, dedication and work ethic can match that of our pupils, teachers and governors then we would like to hear from you.

  • Shortlisting: 4pm Wednesday 17th September 2014
  • Invitation to interview: 8pm Wednesday 17th September 2014
