Owing to the retirement of our successful Headteacher, the governors are looking to appoint an inspiring and dynamic leader to build on our existing achievements and lead the school on the next stage in our journey from January 2015.

We are looking for someone who:

• is a passionate and inspirational leader, with the drive to develop a vision for the future and communicate this effectively, to all members of the school community
• is innovative and creative with the curriculum to bring out the best in every child
• has energy, initiative, vision and passion with an enjoyment of life evident in a positive approach
• has high expectations of themselves, staff and pupils, and will ensure a culture of challenge and support where every pupil can achieve success and become the best that they can be.

Our pupils have said (and the governors agree with them) that they want their new headteacher to be fun, firm but fair, kind, approachable and able to sort out their problems.
