This is a superb opportunity for a Head, Deputy or very experienced Asst. Head to embark on a fresh challenge in a progressive and forward thinking independent Academy.

The Governing Body, staff and students are seeking to appoint an inspirational, motivational and innovative Headteacher with a successful track record of leading the transformation of learning and raising standards in a collaborative environment with the Governing Body and staff.

We are searching for a strong and caring Headteacher who is:

Beverley Grammar School is a boys-only, comprehensive, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form situated in Beverley, East Yorkshire. It is an academy converter supported by a single-academy trust.

Along with Beverley High School for girls, it provides a mixed sixth form. A smaller than average secondary school, Beverley Grammar School provides 920 places for secondary and sixth-form students aged 11-18 when fully subscribed.

The oldest state school in England, Beverley Grammar School was founded in 700AD. With multiple relocations over the years, the school grew from as few as 70 students to the size it is today, with many renovations throughout the 20th century and beyond.
