Headteacher

The previous Headteacher left in August due to promotion and the Deputy Head is acting Headteacher until a permanent appointment can be made. The governors are therefore seeking to appoint an experienced, skilled and inspirational Headteacher with a proven record of success to join a successful, dynamic, friendly and happy school and nursery in a developing town in North Dorset.

Gillingham is a growing community with an extensive building programme. There is the possibility the school could expand to meet the demands of the need for more primary school places, although this hasn't been confirmed.

The school had a SIAMS inspection in July 2014 and was awarded Outstanding. This is something we are very proud of, but wish to continue to move the school forward.
