Due to the retirement of our Headteacher, the Governing Body of Pound Park Nursery School wish to appoint an exceptional leader and early years professional who is passionate about enriching the learning of every child. 

• You will need excellent interpersonal and management skills and the ability to inspire, motivate and empower others.
• We can offer a stable, highly experienced and committed staff team and a supportive Governing Body.

Pound Park is an outstanding community focused, well-respected, nursery in South East London which has served the socially diverse families of the area since 1944.

You will be responsible for 75 full time equivalent nursery aged children, including 16 place wrap-around provision. Plus 96 part-time places for two years old under the 'Together for Two' program (over two sites).

The school is part of a school company (Central Greenwich Children's Centres Ltd).  This company has been awarded a contract to manage four children's Centre's.  As the head of the school you will be involved in the governance of the schools company.  This is an innovative new concept offering you the opportunity to shape this exciting development.
