The Governors of Amery Hill School are seeking an inspirational successor to our Headteacher who has recently taken up a new position after fifteen successful years.

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, visionary and inspiring leader to build on past achievements and current successes to drive the school forward and lead us successfully through the next stage of our development.

Amery Hill is part of the Leading Edge network of schools with results that are well above national standards. We are a mixed 11-16 converter academy (October 2011) with an excellent reputation and capacity of 1,000 students. The school is situated on an attractive campus close to the centre of the historic market town of Alton. In excess of £4 million has been spent on improving the facilities in the last ten years.

We are committed to providing a first class education for all our students and we have an innovative curriculum that includes post 14 collaboration in the East Hampshire area. The school has a well-deserved reputation for achieving academic excellence, offering a wide range of extracurricular opportunities, providing a first class ethos and a well-rounded 'Education for life'.

The person we are seeking to appoint will be:
