Freegrounds Junior School is located in Hedge End, a thriving expanding town which lies on the outskirts of Southampton.

The school sits within a sizeable plot to include a pond, wooded area, sports pitches and a mini golf course. Being very pro-active in ECO matters, we also have allotments, nature trails and fruit trees.

Rated Good by Ofsted in 2012, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced senior leader with a proven track record in improving standards and the quality of teaching.

The new Headteacher will inspire the school's dedicated team and set strategic direction with the support of a committed Governing Body and Senior Leadership Team.

Our children have enthusiasm for learning and are confident and happy.They enjoy participating in external sporting events and competitions, and engaging within the wider community.
