Governors of this large Infant and Nursery School with a newly built SEN Centre for children with Social Communication Difficulties (SCD) wish to appoint a successful and dedicated leader with proven senior management experience. The successful candidate will be passionate and committed to making a significant contribution to the ongoing development of this school.

We are looking for someone who:

• has proven leadership, management and interpersonal skills;
• is an excellent and highly literate communicator, with a good sense of humour;
• will work in partnership and effectively with children, families, outside agencies, staff, governors and the wider community;
• has the tenacity to respond proactively to the many changes that are taking place in education at a school, local and national level;
• has the drive to achieve high standards in teaching and learning, with the ability to inspire children, staff and parents;
• is able to analyse data and think strategically in order to set and achieve ambitious, challenging goals and targets.
