The Department of Education seeks to appoint a highly motivated, inspirational and enthusiastic headteacher with the vision to lead this popular 11-18 comprehensive school, which serves the north of the Island. The school is housed in two adjacent buildings within the town of Ramsey and nearby to one of its feeder primary schools.

Following the retirement of the present headteacher a highly motivated, energetic and experienced headteacher is needed who is able to:

  • Build on the school's current strengths to ensure it continues to successfully meet the needs and aspirations of all its stakeholders;
  • establish themselves rapidly and lead the staff team effectively;
  • provide innovative leadership of learning and teaching to ensure that high standards are maintained and continue to improve;
  • foster positive relationships with all stakeholders and the wider community.
