Due to our current Headteacher being successfully appointed to a larger school, the Governors of St Teresa's Catholic Primary School, Preston, wish to appoint an enthusiastic, inspirational Catholic Headteacher. We are seeking a Headteacher who is committed to the continued improvement of our forward thinking and caring school, and has the stamina and determination to build upon the rapid improvements made since the last OFSTED inspection judgment which was 'Good with Outstanding elements' (February 2013).

We are looking for an exceptional candidate who will:

• Continue to develop the school's strong educational philosophy and distinctively Catholic ethos
• Have a passion for innovative teaching and learning with high expectations and aspirations for our children
• Provide inspirational leadership to drive the school forward, building on the success of recent years of children and staff
• Continue to build productive partnerships within the parish of Christ the King and the wider community
