Owing to the retirement of our well respected Headteacher, the Governors of St Anne's and St Joseph's Roman Catholic Primary School, Accrington are seeking to appoint a committed and practising Catholic Headteacher who will be passionate in leading the school on its ongoing journey towards excellence.

We are looking to appoint an exceptional candidate who will:

  • be a practising Catholic with a strong faith who has a deep commitment to and understanding of Catholic Education
  • act as a dynamic and inspirational leader who will be a driving force for continuous improvement in teaching and learning
  • have a proven track record of leadership and management
  • have a strong and visible presence throughout the school
  • maintain and develop the strong relationships between our school, our parents, our parishes and the wider community
  • recognise and celebrate the individuality of children and staff to ensure that all reach their potential in a caring and nurturing environment
