Headteacher

Our current headteacher is about to retire, after a long and successful career. As a result, an exciting opportunity has arisen to lead this successful primary special school for pupils with a wide range of learning difficulties and disabilities. The school is well established in the local community and works closely with families. It is located close to Preston city centre and pupils attend the school from across Preston and central Lancashire.

We are looking for someone who:

• understands the wide range of needs in a special school for pupils with moderate, severe and profound learning difficulties
• can work in close partnership with families, the community and other agencies and providers
• can continue to build on the success and popularity of the school
• has excellent interpersonal skills based on effective communication
• has a passion to ensure every pupil succeeds and reaches their full potential.
