Headteacher

The Governors of Court de Wyck Church of England Primary School are looking for a Headteacher who has a proven track record of strong leadership to take our successful school into the next stage of its development. We want to build on our strengths and core Christian values to enhance the life chances of our young learners.

At Court de Wyck we aspire to give every child the opportunity to experience a diverse and enriching curriculum that enables them to be happy children, successful learners and confident individuals. Our Headteacher needs to have strategic vision and be a passionate practitioner who is able to inspire our highly dedicated and professional staff team.

In our last Ofsted Inspection in 2011, we were judged as a good school with elements of outstanding. More recently, the local authority review in 2013 reported that the school was likely to be judged as outstanding in all four key areas, at the next Ofsted Inspection.

As Headteacher you will:

• be a successful primary school leader with a proven track record of school improvement and have the leadership skills to shape the future of the school
• maintain and further develop the Christian ethos of the school
• have high expectations and aspirations for all pupils and staff
• display excellent communication skills and have the ability to effectively engage with the whole community
• have a clear understanding of what 'outstanding' looks like
• embrace our philosophies of AFL and Loops of Learning, which are embedded throughout the school.
