Due to the retirement of the current Headteacher, the children and parents, staff and Governors wish to appoint a leader who will build on existing good practice and take this thriving village school forward.

Our children are looking for a Headteacher who:

• has a lively, bubbly personality and a good sense of humour
• is understanding, believes in us and is proud to be our Head
• we can trust, talk to and is understanding and trusts us with responsibility
• expects high levels of behaviour but is fair, kind and firm when necessary
• will continue our exciting activities, residential visits and lots of inspiring visitors.

Our staff need you to be:

• able to keep the essence and current values of the school and bring a clear vision for the future
• an approachable, inspirational team leader who values all staff
• supportive and keen to develop and value our skills and talents.

The Governing Body is looking for someone who:

• has a clear vision to build upon existing good practice and the ethos of the school
• is able to make a positive difference to every child and has high expectations of individual achievement and behaviour
• can maintain strong relationships with parents and build partnerships with the local community
• ensures that the children have access to a rich and varied curriculum.
