Job overview

At Anston Greenlands, we love to learn!

The Governors of Anston Greenlands Junior and Infant School seek to appoint a passionate and committed Headteacher to lead our school from September 2015 due to the retirement of our current dedicated Headteacher.

Anston Greenlands J&I is a friendly, oversubscribed school situated alongside a picturesque nature reserve in the village of North Anston. We are committed to providing a high quality, engaging and meaningful education for every child in our community and this goes to the root of everything we do. We are also an Enterprise Champion School.

As part of our ongoing development as a community and to evolve our links with other schools, the Governing Body is in the process of forming a voluntary Multi Academy Trust with Dalton Listerdale Junior and Infant School. This process will have been completed prior to this appointment. The Governors and Staff view this new partnership as an exciting opportunity for learning and personal growth across all levels of our school.

The successful candidate will be hard working, dynamic and compassionate; an inspirational leader who will continue to strive for educational excellence whilst balancing the needs of sound financial and resource management. A flair for creativity and diplomacy along with outstanding leadership qualities are essential. Above all they would need to share our vision of 'Love to Learn'.

We are proud of our school, our dedicated staff, our supportive Governing Body and above all our children. The delivery of a creative curriculum with compassion in a safe and happy environment where every person is valued and respected is embedded at all levels throughout our school. If our philosophy equates with yours we warmly invite your application.
