Following the retirement of our successful and popular headteacher, governors are seeking an enthusiastic and inspirational leader who will respect and value the ethos of our school. You will build on our existing reputation and continue to enhance our provision. Penwortham is on a journey to become an outstanding primary school and strives for all its children to achieve their best. Most importantly we aim to develop the whole child in terms of their personal, social and emotional development. We celebrate diversity and are a fully inclusive school that responds to the needs of the community through an enriched and creative curriculum.     

We are in the middle of an extensive expansion programme to become a three form entry primary school. We have a new suite of rooms for children in the Early Years Foundation Stage.
