The Governors of The Winchcombe School are seeking to appoint an exceptional and inspiring leader to build on the vision we have for the school and lead us on to the next phase of our development towards excellence. The school is committed to an ethos of believing that every child, regardless of gender, background or ability can achieve their full potential in a safe, caring, happy and secure environment. Major building refurbishment was completed in August 2014 providing first class facilities for both children and staff. The school hosts both a Language and Literacy Centre and a Speech and Language Resource for children who require specialist, integrated support for their speech and language difficulties whilst following a mainstream curriculum.

With the promotion of our current Headteacher, we are now looking for:

• An energetic and committed leader with a passion for children's education
• A dynamic, strategic leadership style with excellent interpersonal communication skills
• A leader who can ensure that the school continues to provide high quality education, ensuring that pupil achievements continue to improve.
• A leader committed to working in partnership with governors, parents and the wider local community
• A leader with a proven track record of successful strategic leadership in a primary school as a Headteacher or an exceptional deputy with a minimum of three years experience.
