The governing body of Finchampstead C of E (Aided) Primary School are looking to appoint an inspirational, passionate and enthusiastic leader, willing to enhance the Christian ethos of the school and to build on its many strengths.

Our school is a small, thriving village school with 112 happy and vivacious children, an excellent team of motivated and dedicated staff, a supportive and hands-on governing body, a strong parent association with excellent links to our church and local community.

We want somebody who:

• Can build on existing team strengths and bring their own personal flair to further the school's success
• Has a desire to inspire, motivate and develop the full potential of each individual child
• Has a commitment to enhance our Christian ethos
• Has a proven track record of being a good or outstanding teacher and has taught in more than one school
• Has a presence that inspires confidence and trust
• Will lead a strong, committed team
• Will maintain and develop the school's partnership with parents, the local parish and all stakeholders
