Easington Colliery Primary School requires an exceptional HLTA to join our newly created Enhanced Mainstream Provision for children with ASD. Are you an exceptional person? Have you got the drive and energy to make a difference? Just how good could you be with the right opportunities?

As our HLTA for the ASD provision, you will be someone who:

  • Will play a key role, and ensure the smooth running of our new provision
  • Is highly inclusive in personal ethos
  • Is exceptional, motivated, skilful and creative in providing inclusive opportunities for those who require extra support
  • Is passionate and reflective about teaching and learning of both themselves and children
  • Can demonstrate excellent classroom practice with high standards of teaching and learning which values all children, leading by example
  • Has very high expectations of every child, and themselves
  • Will lead developments and support staff throughout the school in providing the best opportunities possible
  • Is able to foster excellent relationships with all people, and work well as part of a team
  • Is willing to participate fully in all aspects of school life
  • Is quick to take on new initiatives
  • Is flexible and has a good sense of humour.
