Job overview
We are looking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work across the school, based predominantly in Year 6 and to provide PPA cover in other year groups.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate effective skills when:-
- Planning and delivering interventions to target groups of children
- Delivering effectively booster and consolidation sessions to small groups
- Working efficiently as part of a team to secure the good progress of all children
- Planning and delivering the national curriculum creatively to whole classes across the school to cover PPA time.
The successful applicant will also be able to demonstrate:-
- Effective behaviour management skills
- An ability to ensure the wellbeing of our children and to foster a sense of enjoyment and challenge in their learning
- Flexibility, adaptability and initiative.
