St Edmund's Catholic Primary School is a happy and caring, averaged sized primary school located in central Birmingham.

The Headteacher and governors are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic and inspiring teacher to lead the ICT and Science curriculum within school. This is an exciting time to join St Edmunds with the recent introduction of Ipad technology in school and the use of interactive touch screen whiteboards and visualisers in all classrooms.

This is an excellent opportunity for a teaching professional looking for a first position of responsibility.

We are looking for:

• Someone to create and shape our new computing and science curriculum.
• The ability to lead, motivate and inspire others.
• The ability to use and help other staff use ICT to support learning across the curriculum
• A team leader who will ensure high standards of Learning and Teaching are occurring across the school in the above curriculum areas.
• Responsibility for leading on the monitoring and assessment of progress of pupils and standards achieved in the above areas.
• An excellent Class Teacher and role model to other staff in the school.
• Someone committed to supporting the Catholic Ethos at St Edmund's.
