Redwood Secondary is a pioneering school, opened in September 2007 to cater for the generic needs of 225 pupils aged between 11 - 19 years. It is situated on co-located site with a mainstream secondary school thus forming Rochdale North Learning Campus, We are at the forefront of regional and national developments in relation to the teaching and learning of our youngsters and we believe we are an inclusive centre of excellence that meets the diverse needs of our generic school population. This was confirmed in our recent Ofsted Inspection when Redwood was judged to be an "Outstanding" in all judgements.

Due to a substantial award of BSF money we have been able to significantly upgrade all our ICT infrastructure including investing in new PCs, Apple Macs, laptops, iPads and a wide range of first class special needs resources.

We are looking for a talented, multi-skilled individual who has the vision, energy and expertise to develop and promote IT systems within the school. In addition to a technical role, you will support to the whole school's use of ICT, as well as managing our administrative network. Server and network experience is essential. Outstanding skills and system network management are expected. The successful candidate will have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills alongside the ability to work accurately and systematically in a busy environment.

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be a team player and assist in promoting and developing our ICT provision. We have high expectations of all associated with Redwood and we always seek to recruit colleagues of the highest calibre to contribute to the continuing success of the school.
