Job overview

Inclusion Manager, Bromley

Discover a school where community spirit thrives.

Here at Oaklands Primary School, we need people who share the drive to continually improve and grow - and do it creatively and innovatively. People who like to do things differently to help us engage more with parents, get involved with the community, and truly interact with pupils. So we need someone with a visionary approach to inclusion and special educational needs (SEN) for this senior role.

This is an excellent opportunity to join our innovative school's senior leadership team. You'll focus first and foremost on the needs of our children and their parents, including those with SEN or inclusion needs, but also more able pupils. Flexible, compassionate, and diligent, you will undertake teaching at both Key Stage 1 and 2 levels while forging skills with partnership schools and external agencies.

A qualified SENCO or keen to take the training, you will have a sound understanding of the SEN framework together with a willingness to take the time to understand the individual needs of our pupils. Passionate about making a difference, you will have experience of school improvement planning and managing budgets. To succeed in this role, you'll also need sound record-keeping skills and the ability to manage your own time and delegate effectively.
