The National Education Trust Academies Trust (NETAT) is seeking to appoint an exceptional school business manager to lead on the conversion of three primary schools in Essex.

The proposed date for the conversion is 1st January 2015.

This is an outstanding opportunity to work with the Trust and Senior Management Team to shape the finance and operational framework of three primary schools, helping to build the next phase of development for NET Academies. For further information about NET Academies visit www.netacademies.net.

Job Description
During the conversion, you will work with the Trust Head Office and Senior Management Team to establish robust financial and operational systems and procedures across the three schools. You will provide strategic leadership and management expertise, identifying key areas for staff training and leading on budget setting and financial forecasts. Your aim will be to ensure a smooth transition for these three schools.

Post-conversion, you will seek to build on this success, embedding excellent day-to-day financial practice across the three schools. This is a long-term role with the potential to develop into a permanent position.

Person Specification
The successful candidate must hold a relevant qualification in accountancy/finance. A strong financial systems and administrative background is also essential, and academy financial management experience is highly desirable.

You will have demonstrable experience in successfully leading budgetary management and control processes within an organisation, and knowledge of HR and other aspects of administration, including management information systems.

Importantly, you will also be committed to the school communities and their pupils, recognising that all decisions must be made for the benefit of the children.
