Marlborough Junior School is a very successful and highly over-subscribed school. Marlborough is rated Good (OFSTED 2013) and has the potential to become, Outstanding. The Governors and Head Teacher are seeking to appoint Key Stage 2 Class Teachers to serve Marlborough Junior School.

You should be passionate about making a difference to the lives of students with a range of needs, dedicated to maximising student achievement, excited about collaborative working and keen to join a school that is relentless in its pursuit of excellence. NQT teachers are welcome.

You will be:

  • Be an experienced class teacher who can demonstrate a record of success in raising children's attainment.
  • Be able to work in a creative and inspirational way, demonstrating a record of consistently delivering outstanding lessons.
  • Be able to inspire, challenge and motivate all children to achieve.
  • Have a commitment to working strategically as part of a team to improve standards of teaching and learning.
  • Have the confidence, skills and abilities to lead and manage their work throughout the school.
  • Be able to analyse data to support school improvement.
  • Be a positive role model in school.
  • Be committed to the principles of inclusion.
  • Be a team player, open to coaching and mentoring.
  • Have high expectations of achievement and behaviour.
  • Be committed to fostering excellent relationships between parents, carers and the community.
