Key Stage Class Teacher

Maternity Post with possible extension

The Waterside School require an excellent teacher to join us for one term initially to cover the maternity leave of one of our Key Stage Two /PPA cover teachers.

The post will be fixed term from 1st January to 22nd July 2015 and will be full time, teaching a Key Stage 2 class and potentially covering some PPA across the school in the afternoons.

Waterside is a small but growing single form entry school in Chesham. We are a good school where children make excellent progress and we are committed to ensuring that every one of our pupils succeeds and thrives. We are seeking to appoint someone who has the drive and determination to make a significant and positive impact on the lives of our children both in the classroom and beyond.

As a school we are able to offer blocked PPA time, dedicated subject leadership time and a comprehensive package to support your professional development. Candidates should have good experience of teaching across the primary age range. As part of the interview process the head teacher will observe candidates teach in their own classroom wherever possible.
